Yugoslavian monuments by Jan Kempenaers
Jan Kempenaers photographed abandoned Yugoslavian monuments from the 60s and 70s. These buildings and sculptures were commissioned by then-president Tito to pay tribute to WWII battle sites. The monuments were once great tourist attractions, but now simply look displaced from their surroundings.
These monuments look like they’re from another world. Would love to see them in person.
